My name is Robert Valdivia, and I'm the Owner/Operator of Phoenix Process Solutions. With 19 years of experience in the manufacturing industry, I've built a career grounded in precision, process improvement, and a relentless drive to continuously improve. From CNC programming to shop management and sales, I bring a understanding of what it takes to deliver quality and efficiency at every stage of production. My journey began in a small machine shop focused on aftermarket GE Power Gen gas turbine components. Working with materials like 304 stainless, high-temp alloys, aluminum, and cast iron, I developed a strong foundation in CNC machining—starting as an operator and eventually programming multi-axis CNC mills, lathes, and VTLs. With no DNC software, I learned to longhand program in G&M code directly at the machine, an experience that instilled a deep respect for fundamentals and hands-on problem-solving. From there, I transitioned into the medical manufacturing industry, where I spent nine years mastering micro-machining and 5-axis simultaneous programming. Working on disposable and reusable medical devices—often at microscopic scales—taught me the importance of flawless setups, from the work holding to the spindle connections (tool holders) even down to the machine, level and spindle alignment. I earned my SolidWorks Associate Certificate and became highly proficient in both SolidWorks and CAMWorks, programming complex parts with precision and confidence. Later, I joined a shop specializing in aerospace tooling and fixtures, where I continued programming and setup using Mastercam before stepping into a leadership role as Assistant Manufacturing Manager. Most recently, I expanded into the sales and distribution side of the industry, gaining valuable insight into tooling, customer relationships, and the business of manufacturing. Throughout my career, I've developed and refined a wide range of technical and leadership capabilities, including: Technical Expertise
